Dr. Barbara King papers
The Collection Consists of sermon notes, journals, books, travel documents, a map, catalogues, flyers, an ID card, invitations, correspondence, programs, Newspaper clippings, writings by various authors, photographs, cassette tapes, VHS tapes, DVDs, and awards of Dr. Barbara King dating from 1945-2016. In addition to physical awards included, there is a listing of names and pictures of additional awards that Dr. Barbara King has received.
Eugene V. Cooksey scrapbook on boxer Joe Louis
The collection contains three scrapbooks that include photographs of Joe Louis in boxing rings, and with friends and family, as well as newspaper clippings of Joe Louis and other notable African American men and women.
Eugene V. Cooksey scrapbook on the Nation of Islam
The scrapbook contains newspaper clippings and photographs relating to the Nation of Islam from 1963 through 1965, as well as certificates for Eugene Cooksey from the same years from the Cooper Street School, psychiatric attendant nurse training, civil defense courses, Red Cross home nursing course, medical self-help training course, and International Correspondence Schools.
Frederick Hall papers
Highlights of the Frederick Hall collection in the Auburn Avenue Research Library Archives Division are 228 testimonials and correspondence dating from 1939 to 1950. Also included is one scrapbook of clippings, programs, flyers and other materials documenting Dr. Hall's tenure at Dillard University.
Horace T. Atwater collection
The collection, spanning from 1989 to 1993, consists of two scrapbooks containing correspondence, testimonials, proclamations, pictures, certificates, and newspaper articles, as well as a collection of photographs of noted individuals who patronized the Majestic Shoe Shop including President George Bush, Georgia Governor Zell Miller, and Atlanta Mayor Maynard Jackson.
