The collection consists of one box with six folders containing minutes of meetings of the Board of Trustees of Bethune-Cookman College (1937, 1944, 1945), the College's 1937 annual report, the fortieth anniversary bulletin of the Afro-American Life Insurance Company (1941), and ephemera.

The African American Calendar collection is comprised of yearly calendars created by businesses, organizations or artists that celebrate African American history and culture. Each month in the calendars feature a historic figure, art work or fact. Of local interest are the calendars from Bell South which document important African Americans in Atlanta.
