This collection is available for use only on the second floor (Archives Division) of the Auburn Avenue Research Library. Historical Sketch

Mrs. Jeannette Harvey Hamme, a native of Atlanta, was the daughter of Mr. Burwell T. Harvey, a Morehouse College professor of chemistry and physics in 1916 and Director of Athletics until August 31, 1957. Mrs. Jeannette Harvey Hamme was married to Mr. Richard S. Hamme of North Carolina, who passed away on July 5, 1979.
