This series dates from 1895 to 1972 and is comprised of newspaper clippings, various periodicals, and a yearbook. Newspaper clippings from the Atlanta Constitution document the 1895 Cotton States and International Exposition, which included a special building featuring the accomplishments of African Americans. Periodicals include single issues of the Boulé Journal (1955), the Journal of the National Medical Association (1959), New Crusade (1898), and Vistas de Los Angeles (1901).
